Molly Hatchet & The Dixie Roadducks
The guy who'd been the lead singer for the Roadducks has since moved up to be lead singer for Molly Hatchet, which is a Jacksonville, Florida band. They've just returned from a European Tour, where they have a top ten tune, "Why Don't You Take Me Home," which is #10 in Dootchland, and they have a new album coming out next month.
The Dixie Roadducks are a local band, and they have a following. There is even a kind of "Duck Dance" which consists of making your arms like a duckbill and making quacking motions.....( I never saw that dance... but i did see the.. 3 Times Down... the Lone Ranger...the Shake a Tailfeather... the Dipsy-Doodle, and the Alligator...say nomore...

As you all probably know by now ... there is a coon in the woodpile...so to speak...and I'm talkin about the the newest addition to Roadduck imposters, this time comin' outta' the woodpile from Germany...These weinerschnitsels have put the kipe and blitzkreig on the Roadduck's name and then act like they came up with it themselves... that's what pokes a pinhole in my prophylactic....they wanna claim to have just dreamed up the name one day...."oh! ve didn't know zat name vas taken?"....for a name to be taken.... it first has to be come up with...Ridiculous fodder...and i'll tell you why...I never knew what a "Roadduck" was myself, until one day I was talkin' to one of the Hells Angels and he revealed to me what a "Roadduck" actually is.... it's comes in the form of a Cigarette butt...as a chain-gang convict might find it, discarded there on the side shoulder of the road...and, if it's long enough, and not too wet... it's like manna from the heavens!....so, size really does matter... but again... there is no way these Ackduleebers came up with the name on thier own....more like...read about it in a fan magazine with an article about Molly Hatchet and Phil McCormack in it... oh, well... I guess it spreads the name around a mite....More power to ya, Boys!!....Spreekin' Z Douche?

yes , it's true....people have been expecting the Roadducks to break up...or just fade away for a long while.....but no Marichino Cherry Dingleberry !... like the debilitating arthritis that nobody likes to talks about , they keeps comin' back and back and back...punishing everything within Battering Ram Volume of their stage...and they ain't a'goin NOwhar.... so be at Jaxx Dec. 22 and feel the place burn...we don't need no water....let the .........burn! baby burn!!
